While the cookies to your left do look good, unfortunately they are not the topic of this article:( Today I would like to explain browser cookies.

When speaking in terms of the internet, cookies are small text files stored on your hard drive by sites you’ve visited in the past few weeks. The actual text files contain a mere gibberish of code; however, these little pieces of gibberish can be very helpful to the web surfer!

Have you ever been filling out a long form on a website, and somehow your browser window was closed just before you were going to submit the information? Well, you were probably getting ready to type all the information out all over again, huh? Well, on a rare occasion, that website will have used cookies, and all your information would have been saved!!

Cookies are also used to save login information on a website. That way you don’t have to give your password every time you access your email.

To use cookies on your website involves the use of a script on your site. If you’re interested in using cookies for your website, contact me. I charge $12 an hour and would be glad to work with you! Just email me at: tim@prorarity.com or visit my web design website for more information.
